It may sound a little strange to find a photo gallery devoted to real railways as a part of a Trainz-Related network.
The answer is very simple.

This gallery provides the needed space to fully express our passion for real trains, passion that is the main source that keeps strong and wealthy our interest for TrainZ and  for rail modelling, both real or virtual.

No real trains....no Trainz ;)

 We’d like to build a huge collection of trains and railway related subjects pictures, collection that can meet the interest both of the rail modeler ( real or virtual, it doesn’t matter ) and the rail fan.

Our main focus is the high quality of the photo we collect.

We don’t seek to build an huge , static collection with an high amount of low quality shots, with users seen as simple “viewers” of the pictures collected.
Since the beginning one of the best keys of our gallery is the strong interactivity with our users.This strong bound with all of the users who register to TZIT network is the key of all the sites we opened since the birth of the father-site TrainZItalia.com.
But the value and the power of our idea is very clear with TZIT Foto !

Each one of the registered users can upload his own shots, sharing with all others his experiences, his photo collection, his feelings.
Each registered user can rate every pictures in the gallery and debate with other users about a single shot using the versatile “comment” tool .

Not a simple collection of pictures, but a place where meet other rail fans or photo fans and interact with each of them..
Not a simple place where share pictures, but a meeting point where share ideas about almost everything that runs on a pair of tracks J

The  registration to our gallery is required if you want send us pictures or post comments to photographs already online.

Archive consultation , with no capability to post comments or upload own pictures, is free and it doesn’t require no registration.
The registration to our gallery  is absolutely free of charge and it doesn’t require no personal data but your real name, your username and a valid email address.
We send emails to our users only to confirm the publication of their shots , to notify movents of pictures among the folders if the pic is uploaded in the wrong category and to notify deletions of pictures.

We can also send mail to notify users of important technical notes about the maintenance of our gallery.

ABSOLUTELY NO SPAM MAIL : no ads or unsolicited mail.

Here are the main rules about the publication on our gallery .

1. Only user’s original shots allowed. If you wish to upload pictures taken from another author, you have to hold the autor’s agreement about publishing his photo. Please do not send scans from magazines or pictures from other web sites if the author doesn’t give his agreement and if the publication on our gallery represent a copyright infringment .
2. Only railway-related pictures allowed.
3. Pictures of rolling stocks or facilieties subject of rail-wrecs or still under judicial guard aren’t allowed. 
4. No pictures of recognizable people allowed, if the user hasn’t the explict permission to publish these pictures.
5. It’s strictly prohibited the publication of picutures which don’t respect the  sensibility of other users and visitors of the gallery.
6. Gallery moderators are free to delete or refuse the approval of a picture if it doesn’t match the minimum requirements listed below.
